“Green Tour” is a one-day educational bus tour with an experienced pilot-guide, during which participants will visit the most beautiful natural and historical places of the Lodz. During the tour there are classes of natural, historical, geographical. We visit places where culture is intertwined with nature and where children can experience many unforgettable memories. (term spring/autumn)
1. ”Over the River Pilica”- Landscape Park in Sulejów, During which, the children will learn: • Different species of plants and animals that inhabit the river Pilica • An interesting history of this place, related legends • Secular monuments • On the educational activities in the museum Pilica River, children will learn how in the past was done flour, bread and get to know different ”treasures” extracted from the river • How to treat wild animals so that they can return to nature 2. “Secrets of the great hill”- Łódź Hills Landscape Park, During which, the children learn: • Different species of plants and animals that inhabit the Botanical Garden in Rogow and Landscape Park Łódź Hills • The history of the Earth, at a time when the planet experienced an interesting history of dinosaurs • Interesting history of this place, associated in myth and legend • sacred and secular Monuments • How do paleontologists find dinosaur bones • Where do these wonderful springs arise • How does the nature reserve are different from the Botanical Garden
3. “Secrets of the old forest” - Landscape Park in Spała.
During which, the children learn: • Different species of plants and animals that inhabit the Forest Pilicka; • An interesting history of this place, associated in myth and legend; • secular and religious monuments; • The educational activities at the Museum of Bunkers, you will learn many interesting history of World War II. • How does the bison was saved from extinction.
4. ”Tales from the river Bzura”- Łęczyca Earth During which, the children learn:
• How is the royal castle was built and how they lived in it once. • Why the devil Boruta lived in Łęczyca castle and the legends circulate about him. • Interesting religious monuments in Tum Archicollegiat, which even the devil Boruta failed to destroy. • Dispose of settlement with the duke, where archaeologists dig up ancient treasures. • Habits of North American Indians, whose village is situated on the river Bzura.
