FERSO Foundation of Education and Development for Civil Society is pleased to invite for training on December
„European projects and the education of socio - cultural children and youth”
The aim of the training is to present european programs to enhance the quality of European intercultural education, citizenship and European children and youth. For example, NGOs activities in Lodz, schools, kindergartens and libraries, we will present the opportunities offered by the programme ”Youth in Action”, mostly the European Voluntary Service.
The training aims to:
- Demonstrate practical examples of international projects, implemented by the kindergartens in Łódź, schools, NGOs and cultural and educational institutions- their objectives, target groups, course and achieved in the context of activation results. Demonstrate good practice is to inspire and encourage to take similar action.
-Presentation of the basic principles of formal financial and organizational programme “Youth in Action”, which allows an easy way to obtain funding for operations and enabling the EVS Hosting and sending volunteers to and from Europe.
-Presentatation offered by public and governmental support (substantive, organizational or financial) institutions in Łódź, in international educational projects with young people
The training is aimed to people from Lodz - the employees of homes / centers of culture, librarians, people working in associations, foundations.
The training is free. For participants will be waiting a small snack. Each participant will receive a certificate of participation in the training.
Period of training: 9 December 2010 (at the beginning. 10.00 and end at. 14.00) Place: Lodz (exact place will be given to selected individuals)
