Foundation FERSO is hosting two senior volunteers at the age 50+ from Bulgaria-Tzenka and Slavka. From 7 to 28 April 2011 they will work with the team of FERSO, youth, children and the group of “Flying grandmothers”. They will also participate in the celebration of Earth Day 2011. They came to us thanks to the Grundtvig Senior Volunteers Programme.
We would like to invite you to two open events (19.04 and 21.04) in the office of FERSO Foundation in Lodz, ul. Piotrkowska 85: Tuesday 19/04/2011 - Bulgarian film screening: Stephan Komandarev movie “The World Is Big and Salvation Lurks Around the Corner”- Production: Bulgaria, Germany, Slovenia, Hungary. Duration: 105 minutes. Subtitles in Polish. Slide the chair. 18:00. After the film discussion with our voluntaries. Meeting open to all comers of all ages. The film hailed as the greatest Bulgarian co-production since the fall of communism, is based on the award-winning autobiographical novel Iliji Trojanova. Common cooking and tasting dishes Bulgarian Easter, plus: Stephen Improvement macrobiotic cuisine. Meeting open to people of all ages. Cooking from 14:00, tasting and demonstrations from 17:30. Is the Bulgarian Easter is different from ours? As Bulgarians and Bulgarians decorate the tables? Do you paint the eggs? Why do you always keep an Easter egg to the next?
