RITA - Study Tours to Poland

The program aims to support democratic and free market transformations in the former Eastern bloc countries, primarily through sharing Polish experience. Realization of this objective has to be done through expert support, education and the establishment of contacts with individuals or institutions of those countries within the framework of initiatives, which primarily would be carried out on Polish territory. An important task of the program is to be involved in the formation of new elites and leaders of the intellectual, economic and political, open to the Western world, willing and able to work towards democracy, market economy and civil society.

 

Study Tours to Poland are Polish knowledge and exchange of experience in the field of democratic and free-market transformation, building the rule of law, strengthening local communities and civic initiatives. Under the STP are invited to Polish outstanding students from Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova and the Russian Federation (from Kaliningrad and Leningrad) on few-days visit the Polish academic centers. STUDY TOURS TO POLAND 2011

This event includes a twelve-day visit of outstanding students from Russia, Ukraine and Moldova. The purpose of the Study Tours to Poland is to support democratic and free market transformations in former Eastern bloc countries, primarily through sharing Polish experience. An important task is to participate in the formation of new elites and leaders of the intellectual, economic and political, open to the Western world, willing and able to work towards democracy, market economy and civil society. During the May visit to Lodz, students will have the opportunity to meet Polish academia, civil society organizations, to meet with leaders of public life, to take part in lectures, workshops, debates and cultural events.

 

Twelve students will see in Łódź TOYA TV television studio and recording studios of Radio Zak, know the editors of  Angora, choose the culture of Lodz and Warsaw, including Jam Session at the Club Label. Students will take part in European Youth Week events - flash mob, a debate with representatives of all sectors of the economy and integration picnic. During the visit the young people learn about the work of officials and politicians at different levels, “the kitchen” - from the local level (council housing), by the local government until the state structures - exploring the Parliament, the Senate and the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. Participate in the special lectures prepared for them by the faculty of the University of Lodz. Visitors from the East, feeling satisfied and Polish dishes will taste of student life - after all, during their visit will be held Juvenal! The visit of students begins!

STUDY TOURS TO POLAND 2011

Eleven students from Russia, Ukraine and Moldova is beginning its study visit to Lodz. Students will see a television studio in Łódź TOYA TV and recording studios of Radio Zak, get to know the editors of Angora, choose the culture of Lodz and Warsaw, including Jam Session at the Club Label. Students will take part in European Youth Week events - flash mob, a debate with representatives from all sectors of the economy and integration will be in the Jazzga club. Study Tours to Poland - we are looking for collaborators

Currently, the Foundation for Education and Development of Civil Society-FERSO, the operator of a visit to Lodz, is looking for five students / students as volunteers and assistant coordinator, to support a study visit of students from Moldova, Russia and Ukraine in the framework of Study Tours to Poland. The visit will take place in Lodz on 16 -27 May 2011

FERSO invites students, the best speaking Russian Russian

In cooperation with volunteers expect:

1 communicative knowledge of Russian or English.

2 participate in organizational meetings, preparing to take students from Russia, Moldova and Ukraine – 3 meetings in April and May 2011.

3 availability during the program on the dates you visit, from 16 to 27 V.2011

4 organizational skills.

 

 

In collaboration with volunteers, we offer:

1 Participation in a very interesting international project - beyond the program participants from Moldova, Ukraine and Russia, involved in the project will also be volunteers from Turkey, Germany, Romania, Spain and Georgia.

2 To collaborate with an experienced NGO - FERSO.

3 Improving organizational and intercultural competence.

4 Linguistic practice - Russian and English.

5 Paying a ticket month volunteer to cover any costs arising from the implementation of the program (meals during work days, the cost of telephone calls).

6 A Gift set.

7 The signing of voluntary agreements and receiving recommendations from FERSO  Foundation.

FERSO invites the students knowing Russian

In cooperation with the assistant coordinator expect:

1 good knowledge of Russian language.

2 participate in organizational meetings, preparing to take students from Russia, Moldova and Ukraine - 5 meetings in April and May 2011.

3 availability throughout the visit in May 2011 and take over the coordination of selected days of the visit.

4 very good organizational skills.

5 ability to manage a team of volunteers (both Polish and foreign).

6 interest in the topic of civic initiatives.

 

In cooperation with the assistant, we offer:

1 Signing of contract for work (wages) and receiving a recommendation from FERSO. Foundation in Polish and  English

2 Group management skills internationally: in addition to program participants from Moldova, Ukraine and Russia, involved in the project will also be volunteers from Turkey, Germany, Romania, Spain and Georgia.

3 To collaborate with an experienced NGO - FERSO.

4 Improving organizational and intercultural competence.

5 Linguistic practice - Russian and English.

6 Pay a monthly ticket assistant, cover any costs resulting from implementation of the program (meals during the entire visit, telephone costs).
